Leadership Team

Under the leadership of National Director Lesley Cheesman, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) is responsible for the strategic leadership, spiritual oversight and day to day management of Agapé. The ELT is made up of seven senior members of staff who meet on a regular basis. All the main areas of activity are represented: Student Life, Family Life, Work Life and Global Life, alongside leadership representing Operations, Communications, Leadership Development and Human Resources.

Agapé UK is accountable to the leadership of Agape Europe, the Western European arm of Campus Crusade for Christ International.  Campus Crusade for Christ is a global movement with a presence in 191 countries.

Executive Leadership Team
Lesley Cheesman

Lesley is our National Director. She has been working with Agapé since 1988, beginning in youth ministry and then working in staff development for several years. The common thread in all her years has been her commitment to investing deeply in people. She is married to Paul and has two children, Charis and Joel.
Frikkie Greyling

Frikkie gives direction to the Global Life team in the UK. Frikkie joined Agapé in his native South Africa in 2006 and moved to the UK in 2012. Frikkie loves God and says he is amazed that he was chosen to work for him. He is married to Amelia and they have three kids, Erick, Anika and Jura.
Danielle Wilson

Danielle gives leadership to Agape’s Communications and Fund Development strategies. On our staff since 1997, Danielle gets excited about hospitality, music and developing deep and practical spiritual community. She lives in Birmingham with her husband Joel and their daughter Evie.
Mark Daniel

Mark has worked with Agapé since 2004 and is the Director of Agapé FamilyLife. He is married to Christine and they have two daughters. They live in Berkshire and love walking and cycling.
Henri Duncan

Henri has worked with Agapé since 1988 and leads the Human Resources Department. She is married to Paul and they have two daughters, Rebekah and Katy. Henri enjoys welcoming people into her home, baking cakes, reading and going to the theatre.
Bailey Marks

Bailey joined Agapé in 1984 in the United States. His work with Agapé has been almost exclusively outside the US -- in over 50 countries. He and his wife, Denise, now make their home in London where he gives leadership to Agapé's city focus. Bailey and Denise have two grown sons: Wade and Garrett.
