Habits of the Heart

What would you say if I told you that one day the Book of Proverbs would be taught as part of a Masters in Business Administration at a secular university in the UK? Ridiculous? Impossible?
Well, Agapé’s workplace ministry, alongside a leading university, could be making this a reality very soon.
Over the last few years, Phil Jackman, leader of the Agapé Workplace Initiative, has developed a course to help people in the business world gain perspective on their life and its priorities. This course is called Habits of the Heart. If you want to read about the Habits course then you can click here.
Agapé has always had a strong focus on reaching out to students – the people who will be the influencers in our society tomorrow. Now we have an exciting opportunity to be influencing key students for tomorrow’s world. From January, Phil is hoping to be able to teach Habits of the Heart at a leading UK Business School. Imagine a whole generation of business leaders, here in the UK and overseas, basing their life decisions on principles from God‘s word!
Phil’s initial target is to take 300 people through the course over the next three years. This will allow him to make the most of the opportunity to teach in the Masters of Business Administration course, train the secondary school teachers and take the course overseas.
To reach these goals Phil needs to train people to lead the course. Every coach has to go through the course themselves and to have specific coach training. Phil already has a source of potential people and has planned the time to train them. What he needs now is the money to resource their training. It costs £300 to train someone and to process 300 people through the course, we need 40 coaches. Can I ask you to help us reach the target of £12,000 to accelerate the growth of this exciting course over the next three years?
