Student Leaders

"Agapé Student Life is committed to the audacious principle of student leadership - the belief that students are best placed to make Jesus known at their own universities. Throughout history, wherever students have stepped up to lead the effects have been powerful, creative and contagious. Our job as Agapé staff is to be experts in spotting and developing potential, helping equip students to lead. We want to inspire student leaders that God wants to use them to make a difference at their universities and in the lives of their peers." (Andy Atkins, Agapé UK)

Below you'll find a bit of information about the Student Leaders in London.

Jenny Love
University College London

Jenny is a student leader and president of StudentLife, and is doing a PhD at UCL in 'environmental stuff'. After a year out with the Agapé Bristol team, she's back in education passionate and excited about what God can do at one of the most secular campuses in Britain.

She'd love to get email from people - even if it's just a quick note and a prayer!

Ian Godfrey
University College London

Chemistry student at UCL, and has been the only man on the team for a while - but no more! Pray that even more men will join the camp with him and Maada. He enjoys sending emails to himself through this website, but would appreciate some 'real' emails from others also!

Hey-Tou Chiu
University College London

Now in the third year of her psychology degree, Hey-Tou can read you like an open book. Actually, no, she's a lot less creepy and a lot more fun to be around than a mind-reader would be. Click here to send a message to Hey-Tou Chiu

Maada Kailondo
University College London

He's reached final year of university and Maada sings in VOCE (the university's gospel choir) and also finds time for StudentLife. A real multi-tasker with a magnetic personality, he adds a little spark to it all.

His motto according to facebook: "Life is about knowing the right thing to do (by God) and doing it."
