Student Leaders

"Agapé Student Life is committed to the audacious principle of student leadership - the belief that students are best placed to make Jesus known at their own universities. Throughout history, wherever students have stepped up to lead the effects have been powerful, creative and contagious. Our job as Agapé staff is to be experts in spotting and developing potential, helping equip students to lead. We want to inspire student leaders that God wants to use them to make a difference at their universities and in the lives of their peers." (Andy Atkins, Agapé UK National Director)

Ian Godfrey
University College London

Ian is a second-year Chemistry student at UCL, and as the only man on the team, he is a lone ranger in StudentLife's work reaching out to guys. Pray that some more men will join the camp with him!

He enjoys sending emails to himself through this website, but would appreciate some 'real' emails from others also!

Tuuli Platner
University of the Arts London

Tuuli is studying graphic design at London College of Communication. She studies with a literal representation of the European Union, surrounded by Italians, Spaniards, Lithuanians, Latvians, Swedes, Frenchmen, Czechs... She's excited about what God can do amongst the creatives at UAL.

Send her an email with an encouraging note or a link to something fascinating you've stumbled across on the internet. She'll appreciate both!

Christianah Kale
University College London

Christianah is a third-year student of mechanical engineering at UCL, and also sings with UCL's gospel choir society. She believes God can do amazing things, and hopes to see God raining down on the campus while she's still there. Her favourite quote is  "civil engineers built targets for mechanical engineers to destroy".

Send her an email with some cool verses (the Bible is full of them!) and the odd engineering joke wouldn't go down too badly.
