There are many great churches in the Newcastle area. Below you'll find a bit of information about the church and a link to their website if they have one. If you're interested in attending a church but aren't sure where to go, or want to go with someone get in touch.

Heaton Baptist Church
Meets 10.30am and 6.00pm

"Heaton Baptist Church (HBC) was planted in 1895 by a group of believers from Jesmond Baptist Church who were eager to establish an evangelical witness in the Heaton area. The history of HBC has been a testimony to God's faithfulness, often in demanding circumstances.At present the church has a membership of 200 people but our Sunday services attract many other worshippers from a wide geographical area and from all walks of life."

City Church
Meets 10.30am

"City Church is a growing church family based right in the heart of the fantastic city of Newcastle upon Tyne, and we are all about enjoying God, making friends and changing lives."

City Church meets at the Castlegate, Melbourne Street, Newcastle upon Tyne,  NE1 2JQ.  This is just abouve the Quayside, and close to Manors Metro station.


Calvary Chapel
Meets 10.30am

"Calvary is a non-denominational church with several students. We meet in our new City Centre building which also hosts the Basement coffee house. We’re a community of people living to wholeheartedly follow Jesus, learning what it means to genuinely love God, each other and the world around us."

NCLC
Meets 10.45am, 1.30pm and 5.15pm

Holy Trinity Jesmond
Meets 11.00am and 6.30pm

"Holy Trinity is a Church of England Parish Church just outside the lively city centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We are a mixed bunch of people of all ages and from all walks of life. We aim to be a welcoming and engaging Christian community who believe church is a place where anyone can discover the good things of God and celebrate the hope found in Jesus Christ."

Jesmond Methodist Church
Meets 10.45 and 6.15pm

Jesmond is "A small church seeking God for BIG things!"

"We are a friendly and accessible church for all ages and nationalities situated in the vibrant heart of West Jesmond.  We are passionate about learning what in means to walk life with God in today's world and therefore value the Bible, discipleship, and openess in all that we do."

Jesmond Parish Church
Meets 9.30am, 11.15am and 6.30pm

Jesmond Parish Church is a large and very active Anglican Church near the city centre. 

"THE VISION of JPC (Jesmond Parish Church) is summed up as

GODLY LIVING,

CHURCH GROWTH

and CHANGING BRITAIN.

This comes from the Great Commandments of Jesus and his Great Commission."

There is sung worship of hymns and songs, as well as teaching which helps to help people live how the Bible says, and in the light that Jesus is Lord.

Christ Church Heaton
10.30am (Heaton) and 5pm (Fenham)

"Christ Church Newcastle: Seeking to engage the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne with the good news of Jesus Christ, with congregations in Heaton and Fenham."

Christ Church Heaton meets in the People Theatre,  on the corner of the Coast Road and Holderness Road, Heaton, NE6 5QF

Christ Church Fenham meets at Robert Stewart Memorial Church, 89 Wingrove Road, Fenham, NE4 9BU.


Westgate Baptist Church
Meets 10.30am and 6.30pm

"Westgate is a friendly, family church in the West End of Newcastle upon Tyne. We welcome about 200 people to our services each Sunday, including people of all ages, and of several different nationalities. Many more people come to one or more of the series of other events held around the church each week."

St Luke's Church
Meets 10.30am and 6.30pm

“Worshipping God, Enjoying His Presence, Sharing His Love”

"St Luke’s reopened two and a half years ago as a charismatic evangelical church within the Diocese of Newcastle. We are a New Wine Network church, connected with Fusion."

St Lukes can be found on Claremont Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 4AH.  (This is just behind the RVI hospital and Richardson Road accomodation.)


Christ Church Felling
Meets at 9am and 10.30am

Christchurch Felling is an Anglican (Church of England) church with services at 9am and 10.30am.

The services have greatly differing characters: the 9am service is a more traditional Church of England service – utilising traditional hymnody and Common Worship. The 10.30am service is less formal, although still following Common Worship, a more flexible approach is taken reflected particularly in the contemporary style of worship.
