"How,
then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not
heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to
them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it
is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring
good news!" Romans 10:14-15
The
Locations: The Middle East, Russia, Europe
Are
you ready to take Jesus seriously? If you want to obey his
command to take the good news to the nations, come and join
us on our summer mission projects - an amazing opportunity
to pioneer and grow student ministries at universities abroad
where Jesus is barely known.
What
will we do when we get there?
Each
project will take place at a University, either in Europe,
the Middle East, or Russia. Mornings are normally spent in
worship, prayer, Bible study and evangelistic training. Afternoons
are spent on the campus connecting with students. Evenings
are used for meeting up with students and holding evangelistic
events. Each project will include a few days to tour the local
sights.
When
do we go?
The
briefing will begin on 23rd June, at the Wycliffe Centre,
High Wycombe. On 27th June, everyone will depart for their
locations for approximately three weeks. All projects will
be back in the UK by 20th July.
How
much will it be?
Europe
approximately £900
Others approximately £1400 to 1600
(You
will be given help and training raising the necessary finances
to get God's message to those who need to hear it.)
Are
you up for it?
If
you dare to go to these hard, unreached places carrying God's
message of invitation to those who have never heard, you can
be confident that you will make an eternal difference. God
guarantees it.
"The
rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground
to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing
seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same
with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere
I send it." Isaiah 55:10-11
As
you step outside your comfort zone, you are sure to grow in
your faith, develop your evangelistic skills and boldness,
experience team ministry, and deepen your understanding of
God's heart for the world.
If you would like
to apply, send your name, address and contact details by
and we will mail an application form to you.
What last year's students
said:
"We all found in most
cases a general openness amongst Russian students to spiritual
issues, and whilst some remained non-committal, others indicated
that they were ready to accept Jesus into their lives." Dan
Parkinson
"I've learnt that
by stepping in faith out of my comfort zone, I will receive
awesome blessings from God. Also, you can never pray too much
- God really strengthened my prayer life." Tamika Graham
