Building Movements in the University
University Home The Vision Summer Projects Internship Programme Impact Year Abroad

The Movement
The Great Commission cannot be fulfilled at the university through full time workers. The key to reaching every student is helping every Christian at the university to play their part by doing what Jesus himself did: boldly winning people to Christ, building deeply into their lives, and urgently sending them out to make disciples and change the world for Christ. We want to take the initiative in explaining the gospel in a clear and understandable way to the 99% of students who have never been given the opportunity to hear and respond.

The Values
Our desire is to step beyond mere human effort by being characterised by confident faith in God's promises and empowered by his Holy Spirit. We want to be constantly growing in maturity, developing deep Biblical convictions, an increasingly Christ-like character and obedience to Jesus' teaching and leading. We want to be diligent and creative in learning to engage student culture in ways that make the gospel both clear and accessible to every student.

The Team
All of our staff work as a part of a local team – an essential context for ongoing vision, leadership, encouragement, training and prayer. We currently have teams based in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, and London, with the goal of expanding to 12 regional centres from which we can serve every university in the country. We’re committed to working in partnership with churches and other Christian groups as well as having a flexible approach wherever we are. Whether reaching athletes, artists or internationals on campus, our staff are passionate about turning lost students into multiplying disciples of Jesus.
