We want to inspire people to discover Jesus, grow in faith in Him, and go share that faith with others.
Our Mission
Agapé UK exists to help people discover Jesus together. Our vision is that every person will have the opportunity to discover Jesus and live their lives to the full in relationship with Him.
We are the UK arm of an international Christian charity, registered with the Charity Commission, with staff based in 9 cities across the UK. For nearly 60 years, we’ve been inspiring people to discover Jesus, grow in faith in Him, and go share that faith with others.
We are led by an Executive Leadership Team, governed by a Council of Management (Trustees), and supported by a Panel of Reference.
Our Approach
As fellow disciples, all walking and working together to fulfill our part in God’s work, we believe that every follower of Jesus can be equipped to share their faith with confidence.
In each of the communities where we work we are offering practical tools, as well as spiritual support. We are seeing how Jesus’ love can transform our lives and relationships. Through sharing our experiences and hearing yours in return we are seeking to build communities that bring Christians into connection with non-Christians asking life’s big questions.
Discover
Too many people in the UK and overseas have yet to see, hear, understand and be forever changed by Jesus. Following Jesus is an exciting adventure that continues at every stage of our journey.
Grow
We’re seeking to build relationships: between people and Jesus and between believers. We are meeting people where they’re at, offering practical, as well as spiritual support. By sharing our experiences, not as experts but as fellow disciples, we are seeking to share our faith and make disciples.
Go
With authenticity and curiosity we are offering anyone who encounters us the opportunity to learn more about Jesus and His transformative power. Whether that be through practical help, simple friendships, or building communities where people from all backgrounds can discover more about Jesus and explore big questions about life, faith, and God.
