ROMANS 15:7
A few decades ago now, when I was a child, I arrived in the UK from Iran with my mum and siblings. We were only reunited with my dad after nine months. I now have a family of my own, and we've established life in the UK and even lived in other countries for a time. As someone who's experienced life as a refugee, it's been a joy to discover and be part of editing Finding Home Again UK.

Testimonials
My husband and I kept thinking: Why didn't we have this 13 years ago? Such an approach and experience would have helped us tremendously! None of the [resettlement] agencies that we went through here were able or willing to deal with our trauma. For years we were trying to understand how to live with this pain, not knowing what it is... I feel validated in our struggle now; instead of feeling ridiculed and dismissed for our pain. Now I know it was valid and normal.

Learning English is important [to getting settled into my new home], but what this class offers is even more important for me.

Sign up and receive Finding Home Again UK for free!
Please fill out the form below, and we’ll send you an e-mail which contains links to download Finding Home Again UK. You’ll receive download links for two different versions of Finding Home Again UK: a version which includes Bible reflections and a separate version without.
Which version of Finding Home Again UK should I use?
- If you’re planning to run your sessions on your own or through your church, the version which includes Bible reflections could be the best version for you.
- If you’re partnering with an NGO or your local council it may be more appropriate for you to use the version which doesn’t include Bible reflections. This doesn’t prevent you, however, from using the sessions a basis to build relationships with participants through which you can initiate private conversations about faith.

What do the downloads include?
Both versions of Finding Home Again UK include:
- Separate leaders’ and participants’ guide. (There are four documents in total.)
- Advice on how to start and lead a group.
- Information to help you understand the experience of resettled people.
- Instructions on how to lead activities and projects.
- All the session content: stories, activities and projects.
