IT Roles

Location:                              National Headquarters, Birmingham
Normal hours of work:   40 hours a week
Holiday entitlement:   25 days plus Bank Holidays
Salary:   Funded via Personal Support (full training on how to do this will be given)
Reports to:   Operations Director

We see over the next few years we must get better at managing our CRM. We want to communicate better with our volunteers and supporters, across all our ministries, with more targeted and timely information. We want to invite groups of people to specific events and we want to grow in our relationship with our audience. Managing data is a massive part of this.

We also need to take our custom built web-based applications to the next level. We have reimbursement tools, budgeting tools and financial reporting tools we need to improve. We also have ideas of how we can improve the functionality on our website. We need a developer to keep us moving forward. Although we do have a stable system there are always a few bugs that crop up in our current systems that need a coder to fix.

People Required

We have one role we need to fill at this time. Do you have these skills, or a close match?

Web/Application Developer

  • Experience in deploying and managing software
  • Good database analysis skills
  • CRM and accounting experience / awareness desirable
  • Role is a combination of bug fixing, modifications and development as the organisation changes
  • Good interpersonal and team working skills
  • Good general IT background
  • Develop Web applications and Windows / Console Apps in .NET. Previous experience of DNN helpful.
  • IIS, SQL, Javascript, JQuery and WordPress desirable
  • Knowledge and use of version control systems (GIT, Subversion)
  • Collaborate with Agapé Europe as directed by the IT Team Leader
