Join Us!
If Jesus means everything to you, and helping others to discover Him appeals to you, why not consider joining our team? Agapé UK is made up of staff and volunteers who have responded to God’s call, “Who will go for us?” with the answer, “Here I am, send me!”
It’s not for everyone, but if you’re willing to lay down all hope of an ordinary life, it might be that God would call you to serve Him full time, as a career.
There are many different roles within Agapé UK, requiring a wide range of skills – perhaps there is something that would match the skills and experience that God has given you?
Current job vacancies
There are always opportunities to join Agapé UK in either a field-based or a central team role. Please take a look at the general information about these roles below.
Currently we are particularly looking to fill these roles within Communications, IT and Fund Development in our central team.
Communications Director
We are looking for someone with creativity, leadership skills and experience in a communications role to lead external and internal communications across the whole of Agapé UK, enabling us to increase awareness of Agapé UK and build engagement with our wide variety of audiences.
Managing a small central communications department, and working with communication colleagues across the organisation, you will be responsible for delivering our communications strategy and plans, strengthening our new brand and increasing visibility of our work to help people discover Jesus together.
IT Assistant
We are looking for someone to play a key role in the day-to-day running of our Office 365 admin suite and other internal systems to support our staff, as well as the maintenance and development of our websites in WordPress. This is a crucial role for our organisation as we seek to bring innovation, systems, and tools to mobilise the Body of Christ for digital ministry.
You will need to have confidence, and an aptitude for general IT and a minimum of 3 A levels or equivalent is required, preferably including computer science or maths. Experience with Office 365 administration and in working as part of an administrative team is preferred, though we are looking for someone we can train to thrive in this role.
Fund Development Director
We would like someone to provide leadership to the development of sustainable funding for the national plan, by cultivating relationships with trusts & organisations and building a community of ministry partners focused on the fulfilment of the Great Commission.

Like many other Christian charities, Agapé UK staff members raise funds to cover their own salary and expenses. With plenty of training and help, staff members develop a team of people who regularly pray for them, encourage them, and give financially towards their work. This can seem daunting, but for over 50 years, God has provided for hundreds of UK staff in this way.
If you are interested in a role in our Field Based Team we’d love to hear from you.
If you want to be involved in helping people to discover Jesus, and have a degree or specific professional skills that you love to use, this might be the right place for you.
Agapé UK’s Operations, Communications, and Human Resources teams (known as the Central Team) serve and care for Agapé staff working around the UK and beyond. They provide vital support for our field teams in a variety of areas, including finance, communications, resource development, fund development, project management, digital strategies, IT and conferencing. They also provide member care and facilitate the training and development of our staff, supporting the leadership in each area of ministry.
We’re keen to give our staff opportunities for Continuous Professional Development, so that you can be kept up to speed professionally. Some staff will be given the opportunity to spend part of each week working alongside one of our field teams, connecting with students or with business professionals.
If you are interested in a role in our Central Team we’d love to hear from you.
